This position will support other EMS, fire and law enforcement agencies County-wide using Motorola software as they intertwine with Tooele County Sheriff's Office (TCSO), the Tooele County Information Technology (IT) department, and Tooele County Geographic Information System (GIS) department.

Example of Duties:

• Performs general hardware and software system administration.

• Serves as the main point of communications between Motorola Solutions and Tooele County Sheriff's Office.
• Knowledgeable of the Motorola Geobase database, Mobile AVL and Mapping systems.
• Coordinates and/or performs recurring training for end-user agencies.
• Sets up Motorola tables as well as user groups, user privileges, various database parameters.
• Creates and maintains Crystal Reports for Tooele County Sheriff's Office.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Analog and digital communications systems including voice, data and video; Windows server and Linux OS configuration and management; installation and support of native and third-party server-based software.
